Chasing Joy | Sterling Silver Maple Seed Necklace

Inspired by the simple joy of watching maple seeds twirl through the air, this sterling silver necklace captures a fleeting moment in nature.

The delicate pair of maple seeds is handcrafted in recycled sterling silver and finished with a soft oxidized patina that highlights the graceful curves and fine vein details. Suspended from a 16” sterling silver bead chain with a 2” extender, it can be worn close to the collarbone or slightly longer for effortless layering.

Maple seeds remind us to find delight in life’s smallest moments. They drift wherever the wind carries them, a quiet symbol of hope, new beginnings, and the freedom to grow.

Each necklace is handcrafted in my Pennsylvania studio and finished by hand, making every piece uniquely its own.

Care

Your necklace has been intentionally oxidized to create its soft, antiqued finish. With regular wear, the raised details will naturally brighten over time, creating a beautiful patina unique to you.

To care for your piece:

• Store it in a dry place when not being worn.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to perfumes, lotions, pools, and household cleaners.
• Clean gently with a soft polishing cloth, avoiding liquid silver dips or aggressive polishing, which can remove the intentional patina.
• If desired, the oxidized finish can always be refreshed in the future.

Wear often—the changing finish becomes part of your necklace’s story, just as every maple seed begins a new one.
